How These Work
- Minimum to fund: $10,000.
- Rate is locked & guaranteed for the full term — it cannot drop.
- Free withdrawal each year: you may take out up to that year's credited interest (the growth) with no penalty.
- Tax-deferred growth: interest compounds without current tax while it stays in the contract (in an IRA, growth is tax-deferred inside the account).
- Laddering: splitting across 3/5/7-year terms staggers maturities for liquidity.
- At the end of the term you can roll into a new annuity to keep deferring, or begin distributions.
